::the deep red is Dill Blossom Small Red Seedheads
::and the softer red is Creeping Thyme Red (I can't find the red anymore, so this link is for the green version - bother, looks like I should have bought more - or, more likely, I'm just not looking hard enough)
Both are from Fabric Rehab. I have been eyeing up this yellow print for more poppies.
Islay and I are just back from our morning walk with the dogs. It really wasn't too nice out there. It's somewhere between sleeting and snowing and quite windy. We're drying out and warming up - and the dogs are steaming happily to themselves downstairs.
I had promised we'd go to the garden centre to drool at some plants - possibly buy one or two to brighten up the garden - but its really not very inspiring weather for that. However I suspect I'll be held to it by my little helper. She's extremely persistent and I really should know by now not to suggest things without first working out what the weather is going to be like.
These photos are from one of our beautiful crispy clear days at the beach last week. I don't think it will look like that today!

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog - I see you have a lovely little (properly spelt!) Islay too!
Flora
Hi Flora - We really dithered over how to spell her name, but we love the island so much it seemed to make sense to spell it that way......but it does cause endless problems. I don't think she'll be happy when she's older! Juliex
