A weekend in, mostly, pictures - Staveley 17km and Lake Windermere

:: Finishing the Stavely 17km Challenge Race - very tired but happy.  One day I'll have the time to train properly!  I must keep going over the next few months even without a run looming over me to scare me into action.
:: We camped overnight at a lovely little campsite - Pound Farm.  I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a laid back campsite in that part of the Lakes - the camping area is small and in a quiet wee spot......don't be put off by the cabins etc shown on the website!

*I think Katie is probably the most observant of our children and she is very quick to pick up on what is going on around her.  The bigger kids were each given a number to pin to their tops for their races (as was I of course).  Katie picked up one of their numbers once they were finished and held it on her tummy in the right place - I pinned it on for her and as soon as I had she set off running!  She obviously felt she should be racing too.
