I'm not sure where I first saw The Fat Quarter Shop Bloggers Choice competition, which is hosted by Quokka Quilts, but it has gradually been seeping into my rather addled brain as a Good Thing ( I do remember seeing it on Sarah's blog (Narcoleptic in a cupboard) ages ago - Sarah is well worth visiting, she always makes me laugh). The winners (three lucky people) will each get a half yard of all 15 of their chosen fabrics - 12 prints and 3 solids. Now wouldn't that be a great way to start the year?
Quite why I'm encouraging yet more competitionpeople to enter I don't know, but there you go....just be warned you could wasteuse rather a lot of time on this. I realised this early on and set myself a limit of 30 minutes for selecting the fabric....which I did stick to although I could easily have spent much much longer, but it kind of fell apart after that because mosaic making is rather new to me and it ate up a fair bit of time too (but maybe I'll be quicker next time I need to make a mosaic....trying to convince myself I didn't use up lots of precious time last night, don't you think?!).
And here is my pick of gorgeous fabric (not the mosaic layout I'd have liked but, guess what, sorting it would have taken yet more time)::
The linkys don't work for some reason.....but they do show The Fat Quarter Shop reference number and name. Judges IF (and I know I'm dreaming here, but dreaming is good) the only thing holding you back from making me a winner is the linky problem I PROMISE I'll work it out.
Anyway, enough silliness, this was fun and dreaming doesn't do any harm (I hope). Why don't you give it a go (just watch the time!)?

Lovely fabrics Julie! I knew it could take up a lot of time which is why i didn't think more than about 30 people would enter... You can see i was wrong by about 270!
