Good weather for neck warmers

You'll be delighted to hear that blogger has spared you all the lengthy words I have just written on the ins and outs of my cowl knitting experience (and the cross words I muttered at the computer).  So instead::

:: I knitted this cowl, it didn't all go well and I have made mistakes but it keeps my neck warm and I like it
::  Charlie likes finding sunny spots in the house
:: I made cowls for the children inspired by these and these
:: we like snow and yesterday we set off for school early so we could play in it

Hoping you have a fun week and that you have a snuggly neck too!

You look like you've had as much snow as us. I love the photo with the children - lovely rosy cheeks! Julie x

That cowl looks so snug! And the snowy pictures are lovely too.

I imagine you must have been so frustrated when your post was gobbled up.

I hope you are having a happy week.

Oh I am trying to learn to knit! I meant to ask how much fabric did you need for the boys t's?

Blogger may be a bit of a bugger when he does that, but I loved your post anyway! Really want that knitted cowl... looks sooooo cosy!!

Wow what a way to walk to school so very different than our school run.

Gorgeous cables!

And love the contrast between bare legs and covered neck on your little guy. Kids don't seem to feel the cold. :)

Check you with your cable knitting! I am so impressed. Your kids cowls are total genius! Chook could use one for her riding - they aren't allowed scarves or anything loose - so c'mon. Spill the beans on design and fabrics and method!!

Your cowls look fab Julie, and much more practical for children than a scarf. We had the tiniest smattering of snow, but it has been sooo cold.

an excellent post none-the-less...don't you hate it when everthing disappears like that!? happens to me with comments more often than I'd like too! your cowl looks lovely and squishy. good for you still liking the snow!!

Perfect for cosy necks in this chilly weather. In theory, I love snow, but oddly and very unlike me, I'm ready for sunnier weather. Bethx
