Doll papoose for my niece

Modelled by Islay and Spencer Bear (who wore is pink flowery pants especially for the occasion!)
My little niece turned four on Tuesday.  I guess she's not so little any more.  Islay and I thought she'd like a doll papoose, like the one I made for Islay before our Easter holiday.
The pattern, from Growing Up Sew Liberated, came together like a dream this time.  I remembered, and mostly managed, not to rush.  What a difference that makes.
Modelled by Berry
And to go with the papoose?  A pillow and blanket of course.
I wish I could say that I had fussy-cut the flower for the pillow.  But I didn't, it was pure luck!

Sarah - I'm afraid I'm not sure, but I reckon it does have an Alexander Henry look - I just wouldn't want to have to be held to it! Juliex

How gorgeous ! popped over from Cats Dogs & eiderdowns... I can't believe how much your little cat resembles one of ours - Frankie who is very little too. She even rests on her tail the same way. I had my son trying to work out where I'd taken the picture until he twigged & said " That's not Frankie " !
