We have just had such a lovely long holiday. John managed to finish off some work that was getting in the way on Sunday evening so Monday and Tuesday were clear. Yay.
We managed a night in the tent (well, actually, Katie and I slept in mum and dad's house.....it seemed silly to have the other children woken up by her in the night - she's still not very reliable at night. Actually she's reliable at waking up but not at staying alseep!).
Yesterday we got up to a glorious morning and, once back home thought we should make the most of it with a picnic lunch in the Secret Garden (last posted visit in February, it's looking a little different now).
Sadly the sun gave up shortly before we got there but we still had a lovely time. We did feel a little under-prepared as two other picnic groups had brought bunting with them and strung it up on the trees. It looked lovely!I've been busy working away at a couple of sewing projects and will hopefully be loading up some photos later in the week.
Enjoy the rest of your week. Now that the Jubilee weekend is over I'm beginning to get very excited about the Olympics. Can't wait, really can't wait. I love the Olympics wherever it is held and it should be so special this year.

Your Mums cake looks amazing and love Katie in the daisies. What a difference to your last visit in February - it looks such a special place.
