Secret reveal time - The Stitch Gathering

I don't think Jo realises how difficult I find it to keep secrets or to wait.........but finally I can let you know that she is organising a sewing and quilt retreat this summer in Edinburgh.  Yay!

It will be fabulous.  Jo is very talented and equally lovely and I know that she is also a great teacher (I will be blogging later this week about the embroidery I have just finished after going to one of her courses).

The Stitch Gathering will be held on Sunday 25th August (oops, my anniversary but John is very understanding) and will be all day with workshops, swaps, lunch and at the end a private party at Jo's shop - Avery Homestore.........with 15% off (and view the Scottish Modern Quilt Exhibition which will be hosted at the shop during August as part of Edinburgh Festival).  It will be friendly and fun and there will, of course, be the chance to do lots of sewing

So if you can get to Edinburgh, maybe you live in Scotland or the north of England or you fancy a visit to our beautiful city, I would definitely recommend it!  You can register your interest on The Stitch Gathering website so that you are notified once tickets are on sale - and they will be limited.

Hope to see you there!

I wonder if I could make a case for a late summer holiday in Scotland. Sounds like a lovely day.

I think we might be in competition for 'worst secret keeper' ;o)

Sound like great fun - just a bit too far for me, though, as I am completely at the opposite end of the country!

That looks so fun what a shame it is so far away.
