Here is another special walk from February half term.  This is our favourite route from my parents' house at Tyninghame.  This particular walk brought out the best in all of us, as fresh air and exercise often does.  Just look at the big three playing and talking together - I'm not sure there could be a happier sight for me.  Except maybe Katie's big grin on getting out of the backpack to walk the last bit herself (she is such a petite little girl, much smaller than her friends and with her little round face she tends to look much younger than she is which suits me just fine since she'll always be my baby - but that little body is packed with a very independent and determined, as well as loving, personality).  And, yes, Angus, with his inability to resist playing in water, did get very wet.  I expected nothing less - he is, after all, the boy that fell into the same burn twice at my cousin's wedding!

I'm looking forward to a much less frantic weekend.  Still some painting to be done but it is nearly all finished and a sewing class to prep for but, compared to the last several weekends, it should be much less a case of trying to work my way through a very long list.......and it might include some downtime too.  Phew.  What are your plans for the weekend?  I do hope you have a good one.

Catching up! I hadn't realised you were moving. Scary and exciting at the same time! Vintage Squirrel moved recently to the Black Isle, she doesn't blog any more but she has a facebook page. It looks a lovely part of the world, somewhere I'd like to visit, just need to persuade hubby! Anyway, all the best with getting your house ready. I don't envy you that!

Your kids always look so happy out of doors, which is just as it should be ... I pity the city kids who don't get the opportunity.

Enjoy your less frenetic weekend x

Downtime? What's that?...lol. Another lovely walk Julie. I miss the open country when I'm in the city. As soon as the snow melts on the mountain passes I plan to get away to the cabin and the open country. This will probably be next month and that'll work really well since Robert is joining me in Vancouver. :)

Ha ha, I was wondering when I looked at the photos if the boys got wet! Looks great, we need to get out more, we've become lazy and as the boys are addicted to minecraft I've been using the resulting quiet for 'me' time but we need to get at least one big walk in this weekend. Bxx
