The Village Haberdashery and Forest Poppy giveaway

As hinted in the last couple of posts I am delighted to be able to giveaway some scrummy Village Haberdashery fabric, donated by the lovely Annie.  The giveaway is for a little pack to make two of your own Cosy Kid Cowls just like the ones above.  The Monaluna Woodland Knit is a gorgeous thick organic interlock cotton knit - and the cowls themselves are very easy to sew........or you could, of course, use the fabric for an entirely different project.

I thought I'd expand the giveaway a little to include a few Forest Poppy things too.  So, the lucky winner of the Cosy Kid Cowl pack will also receive a Robot Adventure Bag.  And a second winner will be sent one of my Café Aprons.  This particular apron was my very first version (I have since simplified the design for teaching* purposes) - and I did sew on one tie upside down**. It is made with the last of one of my original favourite prints, I love those blue and green apples.

I won't ask you to perform any tricks or go through any convoluted entry procedures but I would thoroughly recommend checking out The Village Haberdashery.  Annie has a fantastic shop with much more than fabric and, in particular, her knit fabric section (for projects such as the Cosy Kid Cowl and knit tops) is really expanding just now.  To enter just comment below, but, if you'd like to tell me which is your favourite of Annie's knits (here, and here) I'd love to know.....I'm hoping to make a new top or two this year and some advice about which to use would be very helpful!  And if you'd like to follow my blog, or already do, you can have a second entry by commenting to let me know.  And a third for following The Daily Stitch (The Village Haberdashery blog) too.

Entries will close at midnight Friday 9 May and I'll notify winners shortly afterwards.  Please ensure that I have an email address to contact you so that Annie and I can get hold of your postal address.

* Since that first class last autumn I have run a few more.  I am beginning to realise that it is something that I really enjoy and am hoping I can look into setting up some more once we have moved and settled.
** I may even iron it before posting, I'm sure I did before taking that photo but it really doesn't look as if I did! The apples are upside down on one tie - not very obvious but just want to make sure you know!

Thank you for a fun giveaway, I would especially love to have one of your aprons. I really like the Flight knit in the grey, I love all the colours of it but this is my favourite.
