So I pulled out my favourites and some natural linen - which seemed appropriate since many of the charms are linen or linen mix - and then had a wee think about how to put it together. I have had this door hanger pinned for ages but wanted to make pockets with a gusset so they could hold more.
I found it near impossible to photograph well which is a shame since I really love it. I haven't handed it over yet but should really do so soon before it finds a permanent home on our landing door! I hope wee L will love it too.

How lovely, I love your fabrics and you did a great job, I'm sure it'll be loved by the recipient(s).
I totally need to make one of these for my quilt rulers! Hmm, I think I've been saying that to myself for about 6 months now...
Lovely seeing all those charms in a useful project - I have a matching set!
That is so very pretty, have a good weekend.
What a gorgeous gift. The fabrics are stunning and set off so well on the plain linen. I'm sure it will be well loved and well used. Have a lovely weekend Julie x
This is really gorgeous. I love the bright fabrics you have chosen against the plain linen.

That's such a good idea and a handy gift ... I really like that natural linen with the cheery fabric squares against it. I can see little fingers reaching out to touch the apples and owls and horses.
It's lovely Julie! What a great idea for a baby gift :)
That is so pretty, what a clever idea for any extra special material.

I think it looks great and also love the linen with the prints. The photos look good to me! I'd have been thrilled to get such a lovely gift when one of my boys was born. Bethx (thelinencat)
